Why Surya?

In many cultures across the world SUN is looked upon as GODThe creator, the sustainer and the destroyer of life forms in earth. The touch of twilight upon our earth and on us is magical. Absence of Sun is felt almost immediately – physically and mentally. We all ever long to feel his nourishing warmth on our body.
  • Sun is the Life force.
  • Sun is the time machine.
  • Sun is the nourisher.
  • Sun is a friend to the whole world.

Surya – Is one of the primary names of Sun God in Sanskrit, Tamil and in Vedas, which represents the nourishing aspect of Sun god. Surya Namaskar means salutation to Sun which blesses us with healthy and long life.

  • For few of us who are committed to nourish the inidividuals
  • For few of us who are committed to preserve the health of the ecosystem,
  • For few of us who are passionate about making a difference to the society we live in,
  • For few of us who wants to contribute a significant part of our earnings to social causes

We could not find a better name for our organization than Surya. A nourisher, a friend to the health of the individual and that of our environment. We were blessed by our guru Sri Kollimalai Siddhar Ayya Dharmalinga Swamigal for this initiative and with the name.

@ Surya - We are fresh.
@ Surya – We are reliable.
@ Surya – We are friendly.
@ Surya – We nourish.

Surya – A friend. A nourisher.
